Beautiful embroidery of little red buds and light blue forget-me-nots flowers with green flowers. I'm also offering this simple wax headpiece to be worn with the wedding gown above. :) One side shows a bit more messiness with the thread that may have been attached to the original veil. As with most of these vintage wedding headpieces, the veils are a bit dry and you may want to just get a new one for a few dollars... You MAY still see a bit of light underarm staining, but it's hardly seen on the dress, most is on the sleeve. The gown closes at the back side with hooks/eyes and a few snaps Fits my 35"25"/36" mannequin perfectly, but will also fit up to 35"/27"/37", 58" long from shoulder to hem in front, 96" long in back. I have had quite a few 1930's wedding gowns with trained overcoats, but this is the first one I've had with a trained over VEST! Difficult to measure but fits the 33" bust, 25" waist dressform quite well. The interior is fairly good, except for the interior bodice wrap (see photos). Connelly" for the previous gown, I found out just how special these are! The interior bodice is nearly perfect with French seaming and tiny little bows. The asymmetric hemline has interesting tulle fabrication at front to give special design at the waist/hip as well as the hem. There is one small net tear at the hem (will need only a few stitches, but I can't sew, so...). Would look great as a gown for a shorter woman, or will look equally great as a ankle length gown. There are just minor satin bruises and a very very slight darkening at the upper back (you won't see it at all under most lights). Creamy white silk satin and chiffon gown with illusion neckline to round neck. LOVE the long ruched sleeves with chiffon trim and bow at mid empire bodice. I think you might look better with a simple veil or sprigs in your hair.
